| About Jan.............. Jan Lynch was born in Pomeroy, County Tyrone, in Northern Ireland. She is a veteran of Irish Showbands, including Jan and the Mainliners (replacing the popular "Big Tom"), and the Marines. Her other popular bands included "Shelly and the Big Valley" and the "Marines" with her sister Anne. Jan had a number one hit in Ireland with "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain" and is known for her powerful and versatile voice. About Tommy......... Tommy Dunn is a native New Yorker, and has performed in most of the major Irish venues in Manhattan. He had his own radio show"The Tommy Dunn Irish Hour" for ten years, and is known for his ability to combine many different types of music. Tommy has produced and arranged CD's for various artists, and had a best selling Irish solo album "Down by the Glenside" in 1976. Tommy was the Parade Commander in 2005 at the prestigious Pearl River St. Patrick's Day Parade, the second largest in NYS. Tommy and Jan...... Perform at many concerts, shows and dances throughout the Tri-State area. They have recorded four CD's together, including the recent "Keep Christ In Christmas" CD. They have been married for over twenty years, and have two daughters, Lara and Dayna About the Band....... Jan and Tommy are accompanied by long time friend and accordionist/keyboardist Dom Lavin who is well known to audiences throughout the northeast. On drums is the well known percussionist Russ Blade, and when the full group plays concerts, the band includes guitarist/keyboardist Keith Sammut, and bassist/flautist Barry Wiesenfeld, a fine vocalist himself. |
